THE ROADMAP IS REAL

Beyond Milestone 1 lies a mapped civic platform, not just a vision

Milestone 1 isn’t a prototype, it’s the foundation. What follows has already been scoped, designed, and constrained across defined phases. Each milestone builds outward with care: from visibility, to legal recovery, to civic integration. At every step, contributor protection and auditability stay intact.

This is the civic layer governments never had a reason to build. We’re building it, publicly, accountably, and milestone by milestone.

These aren’t features. They’re milestones, mapped, scoped, and built for the public.

STRUCTURED, NOT SPECULATIVE

Each phase expands civic visibility, not surveillance

MilestoneFocusDescription
1Automated Ticket TransparencyLaunch the core platform for red light and speed enforcement. Verified submission, redaction logic, and public visibility tools come online across three pilot cities.
2FOI RepositoryCrowdsource and index freedom-of-information releases. Parsed and categorized records connect public documents to enforcement zones, patterns, and municipal actors.
3Parking & Bylaw TicketsExpand reporting infrastructure to include parking and bylaw violations. Builds on the existing stats engine to allow deeper comparisons across cities and infraction types.
4Citywide Bylaw DatabaseConstruct a structured database of municipal laws — indexed by enforcement zone, searchable, and linked to real-world violations. Lays groundwork for audit, education, and reform.

These milestones don’t just unlock functionality, they lay the foundation for civic tools that have never existed before. As the platform matures, it will enable legal recovery infrastructure for dispute bundling, clinic coordination, and class action preparation. Future milestones also support public APIs and academic licensing, allowing verified enforcement data to power FOI platforms, urban planning tools, and institutional research. None of these are speculative add ons. They are structured outcomes, made possible only when the civic stack is built milestone by milestone.

THIS PLATFORM GROWS WITH INTEGRITY

Tools emerge from structure, not speculation

Every milestone strengthens a civic foundation that future tools will rely on. Legal recovery infrastructure, including dispute bundling, legal clinic support, and class action preparation, isn’t a product we tack on. It’s a system outcome, made possible by verified data, FOI documents, and structured enforcement patterns.

The same applies to public APIs and academic licensing. These aren’t features. They’re civic outputs, channels for public interest data to integrate with FOI platforms, urban planning tools, legal analysis, and policy research. Each becomes viable only when the milestone stack beneath it is real, governed, and operational.

This isn’t an app roadmap. It’s infrastructure and the outcomes will be as public as the architecture that makes them possible.

Tools don’t lead. Structure does. Every outcome starts with a milestone

WANT TO GO DEEPER?

Milestone 1 is only the beginning but the structure already exists

If you’re an aligned funder, civic researcher, legal strategist, or systems thinker, we welcome deeper conversations about how each milestone builds on the last. Governance, auditability, and public oversight aren’t marketing layers, they’re the system. And the full picture only becomes visible over time.
